Black Men's Wellness Program

The Program

Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing with the "Healing Our Stories: Black Men's Wellness Program," a 12-week initiative curated by the Black Healing Centre from February 2024 to May 2024. Throughout the program participants will engage in thought-provoking discussions and activities focused on understanding the complexities of being Black men from defining masculinity, exploring experiences with racism, racial trauma, navigating fatherhood, and so many more. Embracing an inclusive nature, weekly sessions combine both activities and discussions, fostering a supportive space for open expression and idea exchange. Guided by a dedicated therapist, the program ensures a holistic approach, offering valuable insights, coping strategies, different ways/variety in how to embody Black masculinity, and resources for long-term mental health. With a focus on personal empowerment, resilience, and community building.
